2025 AMA/NATC National MotoTrials Series

The North American Trials Council (NATC) is excited to present the following information regarding USA MotoTrials in 2025: 
 
Schedule: 
 
The AMA/NATC National MotoTrials Series will once again consist of 8 rounds over 4 weekends.  There will also be the FIM TrialGP USA Wagner Cup in July.  This event marks the 50th anniversary of the 1st World Championship Trial held in RI in 1975.   The AMA/NEXT GEN MotoTrials Youth and Women’s Regional Series fills out the summer with 4 event weekends. 

 

AMA/NATC Nationals: 

 

• April 5^th/6^th - Muenster, TX (West) 

• April 12^th/13^th - Anza, CA (West) 

• May 31^st/June 1^st – Weeping Water, NE (East) 

• July 19^th/20^th - Tippecanoe, OH (East) 

 

FIM TrialGP USA (Wagner Cup):  July 12^th/13^th - Exeter RI 

 

AMA/NEXT GEN MotoTrials Youth and Women’s Regional Series: 

 

• June 7^th/8^th - Tulsa, OK (Central) 

• June 27^th/28^th/29^th - Trials Training Center, TN (East) 

• July 11^th – NEXT GEN Wagner Cup – Exeter, RI 

• August 8^th/9^th/10^th - New Mexico (West) 

  

Unfortunately for 2025 there will be some conflicts between our AMA/NATC Nationals and other TrialGP dates.  While every effort is made to avoid this, with a very limited number of venues available each year to host AMA/NATC Nationals, overlapping dates sometimes occur.

To make more competitive classes and consistent class naming structure, the NATC has made the following changes:

5. STARTING ORDER 

 

 

B. The Pro line will start the Trial, followed by, in order, Expert, Expert Sportsman, Sportsman, Clubman. 

 

D. In all sections, one start line will be formed for all riders

B. Failure Definitions: 

 

1. The motorcycle moving backwards while footing. 

 

14. The front or rear axle passes, in either direction, through a gate of another class, that is, breaking the plane of a gate. 

 

C. Other penalties: 

 

Removed first loop time requirement for pro riders
