Dear MotoTrials enthusiast,
I have some troubling news concerning our remaining competition season. The Oregon event scheduled for October 2nd and 3rd will not be able to take place. Those of you following National news have seen the reports of extremely high heat and dry conditions in the Pacific Northwest. The Tillamook Forest where the event was taking place is in extreme fire danger. Although the club (COTA) would like to see this National happen, no motorized vehicles are allowed in the forest to set up the event We are currently working on alternative sites in the West to host the final rounds of our National series (and the final rounds of the Western series). Although we do not have a solid commitment at this time, we should have a resolution by the end of this week. I wanted to let everyone know this development so you could cancel any reservations for Oregon and stand ready to create new ones once a new date and location is secured. This is an unfortunate situation that is well beyond anyone’s control, but given the world today, one that we must adapt to. I will let everyone know as soon as an alternate site is arranged. Thanks in advance for your understanding, Brad Baumert Chief Enthusiast Officer North American Trials Council Comments are closed.
